MP Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Only the students and students of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of MP Scholarship 2.0. Those students who have got more than 75% marks in class 12th of MP Board and students from CBSE board who have passed 12th with more than 80% marks are eligible for MP scholarship 2024. The other eligibility criteria for MP Scholarship are:

Students who have passed 10th can apply for a Post Matric scholarship.
Students whose annual family income is less than INR 6,00,000.
Applicants should enter 12th pass and are currently studying for graduation.
Engineering students should have passed the JEE Main exam with a rank not less than 1,50,000, only then they can apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Different MP Scholarships 2024

The eligibility criteria for different Madhya Pradesh state government scholarships 2024 name-wise given in the table below.

1. Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY)	Candidates must have passed class 12th with 75% or more marks (from MP Board of Secondary Education) or 85% or more marks (from CBSE/ICSE board). Student’s annual family income from all sources together should not exceed Rs.6 lakh. Studying in a graduate level course in a recognized institute or university. Engineering candidates who have qualified JEE Mains exam with rank not less than 1,50,000. Medical candidates who have taken admission in Government/Private Medical or Dental College through NEET Merit. Law candidates who have qualified CLAT exam and have taken admission in NLU.
2. Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY)	The MMJKY MP scholarship is for the children of people who are considered as unorganized workers by the Labor Department of Madhya Pradesh. The applicant must have taken admission in an undergraduate, postgraduate, polytechnic, diploma or ITI program. Engineering students who have qualified JEE Mains exam with rank below 1,50,000. Medical students who have taken admission in MBBS courses through JIPMER, AIIMS, or NEET entrance exam. Law candidates who have taken admission in NLUs by qualifying CLAT exam. The scholarship is also applicable to those students who have taken admission in any of the undergraduate or integrated postgraduate program or dual degree program in a government college.
3. Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students	Students belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) who are studying at secondary level can apply for the scholarship. The annual family income of the candidate should be less than Rs.75,000 (for 100% scholarship). The annual family income should be up to INR 1,00,000 (for 50% scholarship).
4. Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students	Students belonging to SC (Scheduled Caste) category who are studying at secondary level can apply for the scholarship.
5. Post Matric Scholarship for ST Students	Students belonging to ST (Scheduled Tribe) category who are studying at secondary level can apply for the scholarship. The annual family income of the candidate should be less than Rs 2,50,000 (for 100% scholarship). The annual family income should be between Rs 2,50,000 and Rs 6,00,000 (for 50% scholarship).
6. Model Higher Secondary Schools and Girls Education Complex Scholarship Yojana	Students who have passed class 5th, 8th or 10th examination can apply. The percentage of marks obtained by them in the final examination should be 60% or more.

MP Post Matric Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility

Under the post matric scholarship scheme students can have benefits of 50% to 100% scholarship that depends on his/her family annual income. The eligibility criteria for MP Post Matric Scholarship 2024 are given below.

Applicant students should be resident of Madhya Pradesh.
They should belong to SC/ST/OBC category.
For OBC students the annual family income should not exceed Rs 3,00,000.
For SC/ST students the annual family income should be less than INR 5,00,000.
For 50% scholarship, SC/ST students annual family income should be between INR 5,00,000 and INR 6,00,000.
If a student has been given a scholarship, but he failed in the class.Then scholarship given to them will be terminated.

First you have to go to the official website of Scholarship Portal – scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in
After that the home page will open in front of you, scroll down to access the column in the Student Corner and click on ‘Register Yourself‘.
Then you have to enter your Aadhar card number.
After that an OTP will be received on the mobile number registered with the Aadhar card. After entering the OTP, the first process of registration will start.
After that an application form will open in which you have to fill your name, father’s name, date of birth, category etc.
After entering all the details click on the Register button.
Here you will get the ID and password to login to my scholarship on your mobile number or email ID.
Now go to the column “Online Scheme” on the portal and select the scholarship for which you want to apply.
Scroll down and click on ‘If Registered, Login Here‘.
After login to Scholarship Portal, you have to first upload your photo then other documents.
