What is CTET Exam December 2022?
CTET 2022 exam is a national-level eligibility test conducted by the CBSE. The CTET exam is generally held twice a year, in December and June of the year for determining the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Central Government Schools like NVS, KVS, Delhi government schools, etc. The CBSE will conduct the CTET 2022 exam online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode.
The CTET exam December 2022 was held in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2 as per candidates’ optional paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for primary teachers (class 1 to 5) and Paper 2 is for elementary teachers candidates (class 6 to 8). Age Limit in CTET Exam 2023
There is no age-limit criteria for candidates given in the official notification released by CTET. But candidates must have a required educational qualification to appear in CTET exam 2023. The CTET selection process 2023 comprises the following steps given below:
Step 1 of Selection Process: Filling CTET Application Form 2023
Candidates need to fill up their CTET application forms 2023 in the online mode on the official website of the CTET or CBSE. The general and OBC category candidates are also required to pay the CTET application fee of Rs.1,000 (for one paper) and Rs. 1,200 (for two papers). The candidates of SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person categories need to pay Rs. 5oo for one paper and Rs. 600 for two papers.
Step 2 of Selection Process: Download CTET Admit Card 2023
Applicants have to download the CTET admit card 2023 from the official website or link given above under update heading. The admit card of CTET exam 2023 contains relevant details like the candidate’s test centre details as well as reporting time for the exam.

CTET Qualifying Marks 2022-23: Cut Off
The cut off marks for the CTET 2022 exam are decided by the exam conducting body. The CTET qualifying marks 2023 for general category candidates are 60% and for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates 55%. Since the CTET exam December 2022 is conducted for a total 150 marks, the general category candidates who score 90 or higher marks and other category candidates 82 marks will be considered eligible for lifetime certificate.
