CTET Exam December 2022 Result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the result of the CTET December 2022 exams on March 3, 2023. Candidates can download the CTET result 2023 of December 2022 exam from the official website- ctet.nic.in. by entering credentials. The CTET 2022-23 exam was conducted from December 28, 2022 and continued till February 7, 2023 in an online mode (CBT test). CTET 2022 Admit Card

The CBSE releases the CTET admit card December 2022 on the official website very soon in a few days. The admit card for CTET exam December 2022 is the document that candidates need to carry to the examination centres on the day of the exam. Applicants can download the CTET hall ticket by the steps given below:

  • They need to first visit the official website-ctet.nic.in. 
  • Click on the CTET admit card link on the page.

The CTET Admit Card 2022 for December and January 2023 has been released in an online mode. CTET full form: The full form of CTET is Central Teacher Eligibility Test. What is CTET Exam December 2022?

CTET 2022 exam is a national-level eligibility test conducted by the CBSE. The CTET exam is generally held twice a year, in December and June of the year for determining the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Central Government Schools like NVS, KVS, Delhi government schools, etc. The CBSE will conduct the CTET 2022 exam online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode. 

The CTET exam December 2022 was held in two  shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2 as per candidates’ optional paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for primary teachers (class 1 to 5) and Paper 2 is for elementary teachers candidates (class 6 to 8). However, the candidates who want to teach both as primary and elementary teachers for classes 1-8 need to qualify both papers 1 and 2. The CBSE has conducted 15 editions of the CTET exam till June 2022.

CTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are going to fill up the form should know the CTET eligibility criteria 2023 like education qualifications and others set by the CBSE. The CTET exam June 2023 eligibility criteria for Paper-1 and Paper-2 candidates are given below:

1. Candidates should have passed the Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with at least 50% marks and have passed or are appearing in the final year of Diploma exam in Elementary Education (2 years duration course). OR

1. Candidates should have a graduation degree and have passed or are appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years course). OR

2. Senior Secondary exam or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years course duration). OR

2. Aspirants should have graduated with 50% marks and have cleared or appearing in the BEd final year exam. OR

3. Senior Secondary exam (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and cleared or appearing in the Bachelor of Elementary Education  final year exam (4 years course). OR

3. Graduation degree with 50% marks and has cleared or appearing in BEd final year exam, as per NCTE regulations. OR

Age Limit in CTET Exam 2023

There is no age-limit criteria for candidates given in the official notification released by CTET. But candidates must have a required educational qualification to appear in CTET exam 2023. However, Teachers who are already in teaching service can also appear in the examination to test their knowledge and skills.

CTET Exam Pattern 2023

The CTET exam is conducted in online mode as a computer-based test (CBT). The exam pattern of CTET 2023 comprises 150 MCQs in both papers. There is no negative marking for incorrect answer marked against a question. The CTET exam pattern 2023 is different for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. CTET Exam June 2023 Selection Process

The CTET selection process 2023 comprises the following steps given below:

Step 1 of Selection Process: Filling CTET Application Form 2023

Candidates need to fill up their CTET application forms 2023 in the online mode on the official website of the CTET or CBSE. The general and OBC category candidates are also required to pay the CTET application fee of Rs.1,000 (for one paper) and Rs. 1,200 (for two papers). The candidates of SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person categories need to pay Rs. 5oo for one paper and Rs. 600 for two papers.

Step 2 of Selection Process: Download CTET Admit Card 2023

Applicants have to download the CTET admit card 2023 from the official website or link given above under update heading. The admit card of CTET exam 2023 contains relevant details like the candidate’s test centre details as well as reporting time for the exam.

Step 3 of Selection Process: Appearing in CTET Exam 2023

Applicants need to report at their CTET exam centres 2023 before the commencement of the exam. They must appear in the CTET 2023 exam which is of two and a half hour duration. They should attempt paper 1 or Paper 2 or both as filled in the application form. 

Step 4 of Selection Process: Check CTET result December 2023

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declares the CTET exam June 2022 result on its official website. The applicants who qualify the exam get a CTET eligibility certificate. The validity of the CTET eligibility certificate is for lifetime now which was only for 7 years earlier.

CTET Qualifying Marks 2022-23: Cut Off

The cut off marks for the CTET 2022 exam are decided by the exam conducting body. The CTET qualifying marks 2023 for general category candidates are 60% and for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates 55%. Since the CTET exam December 2022 is conducted for a total 150 marks, the general category candidates who score 90 or higher marks and other category candidates 82 marks will be considered eligible for lifetime certificate.
